Bernardino Luino

Bernardino Luino (b. 1951, Latina, Italy) pursued his fine art training in Rome and in Florence. His body of work is comprised mainly of etchings and paintings which focus on realist interiors and cityscapes. Inspired by Giorgio Morandi’s somber still lifes, Luino employs a pointillist approach to capture the charm and intimacy of city streets, humble rooms, and everyday objects.

Luino divides his time between Milan and Paris. He has collaborated with Gallery Henoch since 1985 and has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows including the Armory Show and the Venice Biennale. His work can be found in many international collections.
